Bio
津田塾大学英文科卒業、カナダ、ブリテイッシュ・コロンビア大学University of British Columbia (UBC) 言語学修士。 津田塾大学非常勤講師を経て、1967年UBC の同級生Peter Rollerと結婚、それを機に米国へ移住。スタンフォード大学、Youth for Understanding (YFU)、National Institutes of Health (NIH)、National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 等でほぼ25年間日本語教師を勤め2006年に退職。メリーランド在住、子供三人、孫7人。
